Rachel Mortby lives and works in London. She is currently completing an MA in Fine Art at City & Guilds London Art School, graduating in September 2026.

Prior to developing her fine art practice, she worked across film, theatre and television in costume design, supervision and making. Her experience of working with clothing and the constructed body continues to inform her practice, particularly her interest in transformation, materiality and the relationship between the body and its external presentation.
